Saying Goodbye to England.

Is proving harder than I anticipated. You really just fall in love with the world around you here, every nook and cranny. England is the most beautiful place I have ever lived, and as it sinks in that we leave in about 30 days the more I realize I am not ready to leave. The history, the colors, the architecture and just well everything is amazing. One day we will come back, whether to live or just explore some more. Our time here in England has been so memorable, I found a passion in Photography, I gave birth to the most beautiful little baby boy ( and if we ever find out we are expecting again I am on a plane back to deliver here!! THANK YOU John Radcliff Hospital and most importantly the staff…. seriously the most amazing birth ever and it was a csection!! ) I had two Photographs in a Magazine, and lets not forget the most incredible friends you could ever make. Truly amazing 3 and half years of my life. This weekend we drove to two of my favorite villages here and just took it all in. I am ready for what is waiting for us in Utah, but do know that we will return one day if for nothing more than to show Eoin where he was born.

Thank you to all those that have kept up with my blog as I have seriously slacked this past year!! Happy New Years to everyone, may 2011 bring us all the most incredible blessings!!

My daughter, I always tell her she is 1/4 of my heart. She truly is, my boys make up the rest and I am so in love with my family. She asked for photographs in exchange for a barbie car, I said I would love to trade with her. She melted my heart. The ground was muddy from rain so none of my baby this time but I held him in my arms as I photographed so he essentially helped me take the pictures. I have gotten so good at multi tasking if I do say so myself. Gabe was at school, but this weekend we are trying for some images as a whole. Wish me luck on that one!!

Changes.

Life has been full of changes for us, new baby and new adventures. My children and I will be moving back to Utah in February where we are blessed to have family and close friends while my husband goes where his work takes him and will be away for a year. We couldn’t be happier to be moving back where our children will have important people in their lives my only wish is that all our family were in Utah. It is truly bitter sweet, we have been so blessed to be able to live in such a gorgeous part of the world. It has been so inspiring to me and brought out in me this desire to make art with photographs. I will miss England when we leave but look forward to things to come. Thank you to everyone who has supported me the past 3 years on this amazing journey and here is to many more years to come.

Of course what is a post without a photo! Enjoying my sweet baby too much to want to edit right now so here is one I took of Elizabeth several months ago that I think is just beautiful, of course I am blinded by her beauty being she is mine!

Well, this time last year we were expecting to be in a new home in a new Country but instead we found out in January we wouldn’t be moving in September instead we were having a baby! We couldn’t have been happier and when we found out we were having a boy our eldest was over the moon! He has always wanted a little brother, and our daughter told us from the start we were having a boy and she was right!
He just turned 1 month old yesterday and so we have been really busy but I thought I would post a photo and share him with the world. We are so in love with him, I am so in love with my family. I am the luckiest lady on the planet!! Here is Eoin ( Irish spelling of Owen) our newest blessing!

This was part two of our session as our original date we were rained out! I think it worked out perfectly. This little girl is so sweet, and such a beauty. I know she will have such an absolute wonderful life with her adoring parents. Thank you so much for coming out with me again!! I am so pleased the weather was in our favor! Wow, am I ever slacking with my blog! Will work on keeping more up to date!
I had the pleasure this past weekend of heading out to Stowe Garden’s with this gorgeous family. These two were such good sports and they really are both so photogenic! Thanks for coming out and hope that mom and dad do love these!!

It was about a year ago give or take a few weeks that I worked up the courage to walk up to my then pregnant neighbor and ask how she felt about Maternity/Newborn Photographs. I really wanted to start working with newborns but till then had only photographed my own children of which were sick to death of me!! So with the helpful push from my friend and FAB Photographer Christie Lacy I knocked on her door and asked. I didn’t expect much out of it I just wanted to keep learning and was tired of photographing non moving objects! So there we were :

I was really so proud of these photos, he was my first newborn and really what got me so passionate I am totally honored his parents trusted me and still do!

Today ( these photos were taken pre-1yr Birthday ) We will be having a fab time taking his 1 year birthday photos though once I am home! He is just as cute as the day he was born he holds a special place in my heart (all the babies do but this one is a bit different since he was my first) Anyways, enough rambling on! Here he is just shy of 1 year later.

I am at this time as booked as I can at this time handle. At this time I will begin booking for the New Year I apologize to anyone that was hoping for a Christmas session. I would also like to devout more time to Newborn photography as that is where I am most passionate I am still open and able to schedule newborn sessions in my “home studio” for the remainder of 2008 . I will offer 6 more free newborn sessions plus the edited images on disk and that special will be over. So book now so as to not miss out. If you would like to see more of my newborn photography look here . I will then be offering session and prints at 50% off for a limited time starting January 1, 2009. I want to thank everyone that has trusted me to take their portraits and build my portfolio with out you all I wouldn’t have progressed in my photography to the degree that I have. It seems crazy I picked up my camera and learned manual just 1 year ago who would have thought a year later it would be such a passion for me. Stay tuned for more details on coming specials and ladies if you are expecting would adore to photograph your new baby I am still waiting for a set or two of twins or triplets if you are expecting multiples please call or email for details of a special I will be running hopefully this new year brings me my first set of twins triplets….. Things have picked up a little bit that time of year for family photos for christmas cards and lots of new babies and lots of good friends. Here are just a some that are my favorites from the past week.

He was one of the first little kids other than my own that I had the great opportunity to photograph. I am very lucky to have made such good friends, especially ones that will let me borrow their children He did so GREAT!! And was so much fun to photograph again!! He will be a big brother soon, and I look forward to seeing just how beautiful their new baby will be. Thanks you guys as always Look forward to doing them again

I never can pick colour vs bw so I chose to preview the bw as you can see he has the most gorgeous lashes and big beautiful eyes!!
